And btw, it's interesting, but when you send the application to the tray, then it will use much less memory.

I didn't find a "close to tray" option, how do I minimize it to the tray? :O It sits in the panel, but not in the tray

EDIT: Add a feature to save recent "Away" message aswell, after restarting the snooper I always type the message manually, oof

[XP USERS]

I have made a new version of the snooper with some bug fixes. It will update itself if you are on Windows Vista or higher, but on Windows XP it will fail.
Please download this: Great Snooper No Installer and copy over the Great Snooper.exe file to your installation directory (overwrite Great Snooper.exe).
You need to do this only once and only if you are using version 1.2.1. ;)

Sorry about this :/

Fastest method is disabling UAC on UserAccountControlSettings.exe (WIN+R => UserAccountControlSettings.exe).

Tried that and still got it. Hosts fine with wheat snooper and only started after this last update.
I'm using win8

Tomi

When does that show up? When you host a game or when you try to join a game? Or both?

Rabbzz

Its all working now....  :-X

hate it when that happpens

StepS

This is because the snooper was started as admin, and since WA is the child process, it also is started with admin rights.
Don't listen to anyone telling you to turn off UAC, because that's plain stupid. You don't want your PC to become as insecure as XP, where any misclick could damage the system permanently. It's like sitting as Root in linux, except with very little preventions, yet not enough to keep the system secure.
Dec 30 2013 23:59:44 <StepS> windowed mode isn't the only thing you need about frontend
Dec 30 2013 23:59:49 <StepS> you need it to be actually bigger
Dec 31 2013 00:00:13 <StepS> it actually is very small on my 15-inch full HD screen
Dec 31 2013 00:00:25 <StepS> while running at 640x480 or stretched mode makes it fuzzy
Dec 31 2013 00:00:44 <StepS> this problem has been around since the Worms Armageddon's release and no one has even tried to beat it
