Description:
Welcome to the Abnormal challenge.

This challenge takes the Abnormal scheme on a whole different level, as you don't have to kill 8 worms, but 40 worms (5 × 8 human-controlled worms from the same ally) within as few turns as possible. Use the scheme and the map provided, which is designed for auto-placement.

Scoring is as follows:

  • You gain some points every turn, according to how many worms you've killed during that turn: 0 worms doesn't give you any points, 1 worm => 2; 2 => 5; above: +5 points per additional worm.
  • You lose 4 points per turn used.
You can calculate your points by sending a log from your replay here (if your game is in Russian, warning, you have to change your language to English before exporting the log, because the script doesn't support Cyrillic characters and strings). Minimal accepted score is 0; negative scores will be rejected (they aren't that impressive anyway).

Scheme settings and/or scoring method might change during the challenge if needed. Rope knocking is allowed.

I admit I changed many things in the rules (to make the scoring less complex), but the 40 worms always were here.

what lol, score system is way too complicated. make it like as less turns as better, otherwise i dont think there is alot of people will play it

Well if one really doesn't want to go through the math hassle, I'm fine with him uploading his replay with the score "0". I can just calculate the score myself.

I have another, harder map where only turns will count; in the current challenge I really want to promote combos as well.

Unfortunately I'll have to increase the penalty and/or low down gained points to prevent weak people's possible abuse of the challenge.

I've set up a script which will calculate your score based on an exported log you extract from your replay. Here it is: http://www.worms-univers.com/divers/abnormal-challenge-1.php . It doesn't support Logs exported in Russian, though, so don't forget to change your W:A's language to English temporarily before exporting your log if you want to use the calculator and if your game is in Russian.

(Of course, don't try to cheat with the log, as I'll use this script to do my checks as well.)

Edit: all languages except Russian are now supported.

does the calculator work if I am using a team name or worm name with cyrillic letters? worked for me

edit: vgj with the calculator, makes it a joy uploading a replay to this challenge =)

The calculator doesn't read team/worm names, so it will work (it only reads certain log messages useful for the calculation).

Don't send the replay. Export a log from it and then send it.

Edit: Some parachutes and bungees have been added.
