I think Alien is talking about challenge medal, which is given only durning challenge is 'ongoing'. You can take sombody's map medal anytime, but challenge medals are pernament, once you earn it, it's yours for good. I wasn't around when you submitted your time Alien so I couldn't accept it. Pending records does not count until I accept them. But since you submitted your record yesterday, when challenge was still 'ongoing', you deserve challenge medal and it obviously should be fixed. We also have to think how to solve it for the future so manual corrections won't be needed anymore.
