Description:
Color palette change for use along with OBS' color key filter
extract to graphics folder
it is recommended to be used alongside black background in-game, press Insert in-game to cycle through background options
initially i had this idea back in 3.7.2.1 days when
a frontend color palette editor was introduced to me, and i wanted to experiment around with what could be done. Another thing i thought of doing was putting an image behind WA gameplay. I could do this easily with black background in-game, but what about the frontend? it has that blue gradient thing. fortunately, palette files were wide open in game files and they were editable, so i was able to get rid of the gradient on all screens. yay

this is not a tutorial on how to use OBS

You'll need:
- OBS (I'll use OBS Studio 26.1.1)
- OBS Shader Filters:
https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/obs-shaderfilter.775/- a wallpaper, preferably in the same aspect ratio as the canvas/game (I'll use a 4k rendition of Windows XP's Bliss
https://redd.it/23qpse)
Setup:
- have an image source below the game source
- on the game source, go to filters and add a color key
- set Key Color Type to Custom Color
- set Key Color to #000000
- set Similarity and Smoothness to 1
-done
To add a drop shadow:
- on the game source, go to filter and below color key filter, add a User-defined shader
- find drop_shadow.filter in the default directory
- set both shadow offsets to 0
- set shadow blur size to 5
- done
Alternatively, you can add a transparent color source between image source and game source as a background dim
To do this:
- add a color source with color #000000
- go to filters, add a Color Correction filter
set Opacity to whatever you desire, it's set in percentage
what you will see:

example of what can be done with OBS:

*transparent bomb icon in weapon options is a bug in SuperFrontendHD :/

if there will be demand maybe i'll make another version that will also remove flying stars and spanners
