Hi. I was thinking that there are many schemes on this community and most were created without a scheme icon or a scheme image, or scheme symbol, or scheme banner, or whatever you prefer to call.

Scheme icons for existing schemes could be made by the community, but that requires some effort and intention to do it by players. So... What about using AI to create scheme icons? The community could post AI generated images for schemes, and maybe these images become official scheme icons for them? For example, if many people like a scheme icon generated by AI that someone made the commands/prompts/text, after a poll or like buttons the image could be officialized or at least become a notable example of image for the scheme. So, that image could go to the official TUS league schemes icons or Worms Knowledge Base icons.

My attempts using Gemini for my scheme Help The Sheep:

Which is the best?

Help The Sheep 3.jfif
Help The Sheep 4.jfif
Help The Sheep.jfif
Help The Sheep 2.jfif

MonkeyIsland

Due to massive misunderstandings: MonkeyIsland refers to an island not a monkey. I would be a monkey, if my name was IslandMonkey meaning a monkey who is or lives on an island. MonkeyIsland is an island which is related to monkeys. Also there's been a legend around saying MonkeyIsland is a game. So please, think of me as an island or a game.

Okay if I don't manage to obtain a better image for the scheme icon, it will be the one you commented, I guess. Was it the one that there are two worms like Tarzan or the one the worm is holding the sheep with a "hand"? Now I noticed that there is an image that the sheep has 5 members lol.

I made black and white because at the beginning the first images generated were happy silly sheeps like a 3 year-old kids TV animation. So I asked to Gemini to make the worms bigger and angry, the sheep should be actually a Ram and not an Ewe, with horns and an angry face. I thought about making a bit noir vibe to see what Gemini would make, and I liked it in a dark mood. Also since the image will not go to WMDB, I thought that making it black and white was a possibility and black and white things usually have great artistic value. For example, in Brazil there is a worldwide known Photographer that I think he lives in Europe nowadays, called Sebastião Salgado. Probably the most famous photographer of Brazil and one of the world's most known photographers. I think all the pictures from this artist are black and white and I like his work.

I liked it. You made the icon in 2014? Or recently you edited the scheme's page?

Edited it around 2023 I think.

i like #2, worms with muscles look weird.  I've always disliked the WA cover art too.  It's just strange when they try to make the worms into sweaty muscle bound commandos, they are just loveable idiots imo.  It's Gears of Warification.
