Dude, Nizikawa already linked to the discord discussion where he answered pretty much everything you are asked, also right there, on the same link, there are the functions you are asking for, in 2 different formats even, the IDA project straight from Nizi and just the func names and dirs that I looted from it in txt format if thats all of what you need....you are on that discord just grab them from there.

Wormkit Modules / Re: WormKit Modules Development
January 14, 2025, 02:48 AM
Wormkit module development is not something thats accesible enough to fit a tutorial right now, if one were to make one, it would be more about reverse engineering than anything else.....needless to say, reverse engineering is not the most intuitive of the fields to the average joe and is not usually something people look tutorials for (the kind of people thats into reverse engineering usually is not the kind that follows tutorials as a way of learning).
In conclusion, the reason why, after all these years, noone bothered to make a tutorial for it is because:
In conclusion, the reason why, after all these years, noone bothered to make a tutorial for it is because:
- Theres no single standard way of making a wormkit module. Everyone has their own way of working, hooking, building and handling the modules.
- The process is too complex to boil down into a tutorial accesible enough to those that seek tutorials. If done, it would either be felt "half assed and doesnt explain enough" or "too complicated" by tutorial watchers.
- The demand for such a thing is simply not there. Nowadays people scream just by seeing C++ code, I dont want to imagine their faces when they see assembly code (because, yes, you need to know some assembly to make modules).

This one looks amazing but its sadly broken, it seems you went over the color limits of the engine, so the backdrop gradient is all pixelated and the colors are often lost to "curse of the white".

Thanks!, but dw, WA is an old game that runs on anything, I will be able to continue sporadically barfing terrains even if I end up living under the bridge and our currency ends up going extinct, lol. Hopefully you like the ones that I have in my pipeline.
(I'm fairly well of so the under the bridge thing has very low chances of happening, at least, the later one is the more likely if things continue to hit the fan perpetually as they have been doing for the past decades)

I think that adding random google images would defeat the purpose of it being a Worms Golf terrain...by that point, why even bother using and adapting Worms Golf stuff if you are going to be using random google stuff anyway?.
Im still looking at them however, I have managed to squeeze out 13 unique objects for the carnival one, which is still on the low-side, but at least its close to other terrains that I have made....the objects are nothing compared to this terrain however so Im not still 100% sure if its worth making, so no promises.

I've been looking into those, they dont have that many objects to work with or at least not half as much as the graveyard one, sadly. Maybe I could manage to get Britania and Carnival in with a very narrow object selection, but Pirate Cave has like 2-3 objects, the chest the worm head statue and thats probably about it, maybe a gold pile could be an object?

Thanks!, glad you liked the bridge, I was actually on the fence about that one. Im not usually a fan of custom bridges, but on the Fruit Bastilles map there was this coast dock that I coudlnt fit anywhere, so I just turned it into a bridge, lol.

I have no roadmap, I just choose a map when Iam done with what I was making (if I still feel like making another. That being said, the next one could end up being chateau, if I can pull of the terrain texture for that one.
It basically goes like this:
"I like this map!"---->tries to make it---->finishes--->"what else can I do?"--->"I like this map!"

Yea, that is sort of the idea behind it, really, I usually feel guilty when playing standard maps because I'd rather play a unique one....so why not make unique maps out of standard ones?, heh
Glad you liked it btw!
